The role

HR Business Partner
Permanent, full time

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to work with our UK & Ireland based stakeholders on day-to-day HR activities such as absences, performance and ad-hoc queries and support. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for running annual HR processes including Performance Management, Talent & Succession planning, Salary & Bonus reviews & all ER cases and processes covering Disciplinary, Capability & Grievance processes. 

This person will provide high quality, pragmatic and commercial HR / employee relations advice to employees as well as proactively identifying areas where HR can add value, and to lead solutions in support of strategic goals and improving organisational performance, including Change Projects.

Key accountabilities

  • Partner with the business to fully understand their key business performance focus areas, objectives and drivers, and associated people requirements for both current and future business challenges.
  • Responsible for driving a number of HR related initiatives that support the immediate and future organisational strategic goals and supporting on any Change Projects.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the business has the right capabilities at the right time, as well as partnering with the Learning Partner to build capabilities where needed.
  • Carry out the annual HR People Processes (Performance Management, Talent & Succession, Bonus & Salary Review) with consistency and to a high standard
  • Collaboratively work with the wider HR Team and CoEs to develop innovative, timely and cost-effective best practice HR solutions that can be implemented across the business as a whole. This should include HR policies, recruitment and selection practices, retention approaches, performance management, absence management etc.

Skills & experience

  • Relevant experience in a HR Business Partner or similar HR role
  • Ideally experience in working with a mobile/ field-based sales force.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of UK Employment Law & HR Best Practice.
  • Commercial thinking combined with organisational awareness.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for HR and people experience
  • Ability to work at pace and highly organised
