Imperial Brands is currently undergoing a strategic transformation to become a consumer-centric organisation and the new Insights function will be a crucial driving force behind this change, placing consumer preferences and demands at the centre of commercial decision making to gain competitive advantage.
Within the overall function, the Data & Analytical Services team provides services that allow actionable insight to be produced.
Its role is to:
1. Embed data science within Imperial's business processes and ability to make key decisions
2. Drive alignment via standardised consumer reporting to the business
3. Transform how we use consumer data, driving standardised best practice across the business Reporting into the Data & Analytical Services Director, this position aligns to the second of these areas
This role’s responsibility is to stand up a central reporting unit that will use data from the central data lake ('Hive'). This will achieve alignment in how Imperial views data, leading to consistently strong and efficient insight generation.
The Head of Reporting will own the roadmap for rolling out central reporting, drive the adoption of it once available, and collate & prioritise reporting requests to meet business needs
