The role

The location of this role is flexible. 

To implement and embed Inclusion & Diversity activities across all 120 markets, working collaboratively with employees to actively enable the creation of a truly inclusive, high performance culture.

Key accountabilities

  • To effectively implement inclusion and diversity activities, working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels across Imperial Brands
  • To collaborate with business leaders and HR colleagues to actively support market-led inclusion and diversity activities, recognising and responding to different local cultural needs whilst aligned with Group-wide strategic intent and principles
  • To identify and capture quantitative and qualitative data to track/measure progress (return on investment), generating insight to inform business decision making and enable effective reporting to meet legal/regulatory requirements
  • To actively support the identification of employee champions and the continual development/full optimisation of employee led networks (ERGs), covering all aspects of the diversity & inclusion agenda
  • To support the design and delivery of training & development to create understanding, awareness and capability
  • To continually develop self-awareness and understanding, to bring latest thinking and best practice into Imperial Brands, sharing learning with colleagues
  • To effectively communicate with all stakeholders, designing and delivering engaging presentations and business reports as required
  • To performance coach colleagues to develop awareness and understanding of inclusion and diversity
  • To deputise for the Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity in all relevant meetings/projects

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience in implementing a wide range of effective pragmatic, innovative diversity & inclusion activities and solutions in a complex, matrixed, global organisation
  • Proven ability to build strong and effective collaborative relationships; able to promote ideas persuasively to influence and shape opinions, gain commitment and buy-in
  • Proven expertise in gaining employee active engagement & involvement in working groups and forums
  • Proven expertise in generating and using data driven analysis and insights to inform decision making and demonstrate effectiveness / return on investment
  • Clear, articulate and engaging communicator; able to adapt style/approach to meet audience needs
  • Awareness of latest thinking, changing trends and legal/regulatory requirements
  • Highly organised; skilled in effective prioritisation aligned to business priorities
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a change environment with ambiguity.
