The role

We are seeking a Global Brand Manager within our Next Generation Products (NGP) function, part of the Heated Tobacco marketing team. Within NGP, we are committed to our harm reduction agenda, fostering a culture and ways of working which are consumer-focused and embrace our challenger mindset. The role holder will be preferably located within the UK, with the ability to work remotely.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and has experience of developing a suite of Marketing and engagement tools in  line with the global strategies and guidelines. The successful candidate should also be comfortable working on multiple projects within ambitious timelines.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the development of the brand DNA and core brand parameters, and actively play a role in guarding the  brand  DNA across all mix  executions
  • Support in the development of key  brand equity attributes and translate these into  campaigns, brand identity  guide lines and assets to support the various brand projects and markets
  • Play a key role in the planning process, delivering input  and  materials for  markets to enable the development of launch operational plans in line with Category Strategy and the business objectives
  • Support in the on-going development and delivery of toolkits needed  by markets for opportunity  identification and in-market activation of  brand  initiatives
  • Monitor brand KPIs related to equity, awareness and trial, and propose on-going toolkits optimisation and needs

Skills & experience


  • A proven brand marketing background in FMCG (minimum 5 years experience), with related university degree, preferably at post-graduate level
  • Experience working with multiple markets
  • Strong data analytical skills, with the ability to analyse more complex data sets and translate into opportunities and  actions, including understanding of  the drivers  within categories, demand shifts, consumer needs and pricing dynamics to identify new strategic opportunities
  • Ability to understand and interpret implications from both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Ability to  assess plans  based on  consumer needs vs. commercial delivery, detailing return on  investment to ensure maximum  benefits  and results are delivered
  • Experience in packaging development and involvement in innovation creation
  • Planning and Project management skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing  and stakeholder management skills. Important to demonstrate an ability  to  build  relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to  demonstrate knowledge and presence in cross-functional meetings
  • Understanding of online  marketing and  media landscape
  • Excellent presentation skills and knowledge on how to prepare content to a high standard
  • Ability to work independently to tight timelines and  deliver under pressure
  • Hands-on attitude with a strong team-player mentality
