The role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager (Planning & Analysis) with responsibility for Planning and Analysis, for assigned cluster relationships and business partnering divisional teams. This role will support the FP&A team in establishing a robust processes and insightful analytics.

The primary objective is to create better foresight and improve the speed and quality of decision making across the Divisional team. Your key stakeholders will be the Divisional and Cluster/Market teams who will rely on your high-quality output to review and challenge the performance of the business.

Principle accountabilities

  • Support the Planning process as required by FP&A Manager
  • Take the lead in systems (Anaplan and Micro Strategy) to build reporting capability and ensure integrity of data.
  • Foresight analytics design, development and delivery – What will happen? What can we do?
  • Ad-hoc work on emerging challenges and hot topics – supporting the FP&A Manager
  • Partnering closer with divisional support teams to provide an aligned view of forecast drivers and implications to our business
  • Challenging our Plans with sensitivity modelling and scenario planning to establish confidence in delivery
  • Monitoring of Opportunities, Risks and Tasking
  • Divisional partner for assigned Clusters
  • Improvement of stakeholder service levels into Division and out to Clusters
  • Any other work as necessary to support the objectives of the FP&A Team

Desirable:

  • Experience in a commercial finance environment
  • Experience of IB Finance systems and processes
