For our financial department we are looking for a new team member! We are searching for candidates for the following role based in Mechelen (BE) or in Oosterhout (NL): Financial Controller.

THE ROLE

  • You are accountable for all financial accounting and reporting for Benelux legal entities.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the delivery of RTR/OTC/PTP/treasury services and credit control within Benelux by providing in-depth process expertise, managing the retained process activities and champion alignment of local processes to the global template
  • You are specialized in detailed RTR/OTC/PTP process execution, facilitation and transformation experience
  • You have experience in the ownership and delivery of business processes and deep-dive expertise on local process subcomponents

  • Your advanced Excel skills make it easy for you to shape big data into clear reports and analyses while your strong analytical skills and natural curiosity help you to come to the root of a problem and the story it tells
  • You have an eye for detail and are able to see the bigger picture, connect processes and bring the right people together to learn and improve the way we work and identify opportunities that can further drive our business.
  • You are a real team player and a strong communicator both verbally and in writing (fluency in English is essential, in Dutch and French preferable)
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks to deliver on promises.
  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • You have experience as a general accountant, preferably in a FMCG environment
  • You have an affinity with SAP
  • You have a good understanding of GAAP and IFRS guidelines
