We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to join a new enterprise-wide data organisation within Imperial Brands. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced data professional to accelerate our journey towards becoming a data-driven business through the implementation and coordination of data governance initiatives.
In this role you will be leading the implementation of the data governance framework, promoting a culture of data ownership by establishing data governance roles across the organisation, and coordinating data governance activities, including the implementation of data governance forums across the functions. You will also help contribute to the development of an enterprise-wide data strategy and vision.
You will need to be an experienced data professional with experience of implementing and managing data governance activities, an excellent understanding of data management and governance best practices, and a proficient communicator able to deliver change in a complex, global organisation.
Working with stakeholders in all functions, you will need to be able to directly influence them as well as articulate the impact of potential data related conflicts and manage and maintain mutually agreeable resolutions.
Reporting to the Head of Data Architecture within Global IT, you will have the opportunity to help shape the building of an enterprise-wide, scalable data organisation within Imperial Brands.
