Fontem Ventures, a subsidiary of Imperial Brands plc, is a leader in vaping technology and owns e-vapour brand blu. The role of Development Team Lead sits in our global e-commerce platform and is reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The role forms part of the overall global technology leadership team. Your role will involve building strong relationships with other functions and the wider business. You will be a critical member of the team, contributing to the success of the overall function.
In this position you will be responsible for execution of development and integration activities together with your specific development team. You are expected to manage the delivery of digital products and services through design, build, implementation and deployment. As a Development Team Lead, you are a technical delivery expert who is expected to ensure that your delivery portfolio meets the required outputs and solutions, on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with relevant development standards.
This role also is accountable for providing support of digital assets including break fix and root cause analysis. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Owner and product team and you are responsible for the technical execution of the product backlog together with the engineering team. The Development Team Lead will work in collaboration with architects to ensure that the architectural vision in the specific domain is defined and executed.
