Global Supply Chain

Our mission in Global Supply Chain (GSC) is to revolutionise Imperial Brands’ end-to-end global supply operation through new processes, ways of working and systems. The successful delivery of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system in 2022 has been the first critical deliverable in ensuring that the foundations of our global supply chain operations are fit for the future. In the coming years Imperial Brands will further revolutionise the end-to-end GSC operations through the implementation of new ERP and Planning systems.


The PLM System & Process Integration Manager will join the PLM Processes and Systems Team, which is part of GSC, focusing on the implementation of new processes and ways of working into the PLM system and ensuring PLM best practice is followed. Our aim is to enable the business to be more efficient whilst still ensuring our products are compliant, underpins the role of the PLM System & Process Integration Manager.

This role can be based at our offices in Bristol, London, Hamburg, Warsaw or Madrid.

The role-holder will be the face to the many GSC Programmes, ensuring that processes between all systems and departments are aligned, data flow/management is defined correctly and requirements in other GSC systems are realised, as well as implementing the changes in PLM which are required to support the overall GSC end-to-end process and securing the end-to-end digital thread.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the integration of PLM with the ERP and Planning systems and processes, ensuring a seamless efficient process and end-to-end digital thread.
  • Actively collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Operations and Global IT to define effective processes and ways of working between the different departments and systems.
  • Ensure that an optimal data flow across all systems within GSC is delivered, including the definition of data origination and utilisation across systems.
  • Together with the Business Process Architect define a PLM implementation roadmap for all necessary requirements to be realised in PLM from the GSC Programmes.
  • Align the requirements for PLM implementation with stakeholders ensuring that the change and impact of ways of working is highlighted and clearly communicated.
  • Develop ideas and concepts which support the GSC end-to-end global supply process.
  • Lead the implementation of requirements arising from the GSC Programmes to secure maximum benefit from the to-be processes and ways of working.
  • Promote the adoption of new PLM processes and ways of working through Change Management best practices.
  • Represent the PLM Team, as well as the processes and ways of working in governance forums.
  • Safeguard the compliance of Imperial Brands products through the analysis of to-be processes/data flows and alignment with the PLM Product Science Module Owner.
  • Report on the status of current PLM activities to senior leadership within Global Supply Chain.

Skills and Experience


  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to establish an impactful and positive working relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Passionate about the digitalisation of processes and how systems can support the business to become more efficient and work seamlessly across the organisation.
  • Excellent process driven mindset with a proven track record of grasping complex processes quickly.
  • Excellent abilities to see the big picture of to-be processes, identify the impact and communicate clearly.
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-discipline team.
  • Good knowledge of ARAS Innovator with 5 years’ experience working with, or implementing projects into the ARAS platform.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data and process changes/issues into simple messages for both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience of defining requirements for use in system or process design.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of what a Bill of Materials is and how it is used across the overall manufacturing process.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills.


  • Experience in Agile system development including data migration.
  • Track record of conducting or participating in Change Management activities to adopt new processes and ways of working.
  • Knowledge of ERP and/or Planning system processes and ways of working.
