The Role

Are you ready to turn data into decisive action? We’re seeking a sharp, commercially minded insights professional to deliver clear, timely analysis that guides strategy across our German market. In this role, you’ll drive forecasting, market reporting, and performance measurement, providing leaders with the intelligence they need to strengthen competitiveness and improve operational efficiency. If you excel at making complex trends understandable, ensuring data quality, and influencing key decisions through impactful reporting, this is your opportunity to shape the direction of our business.

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Principle Accountabilities

  • Deliver precise, timely data and clear performance reporting to support tactical and strategic decision-making across the German business.
  • Lead market intelligence, identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and competitor performance to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Own the Demand Pillar of Integrated Business Planning, including market size, share, and demand forecasting for combustibles and reduced-risk products.
  • Manage core strategic analyses and processes, including Profit Pool outlooks, business case development, and annual Strategic and Operational planning.
  • Contribute to senior management and Group reporting, ensuring consistent, insightful updates on market size, share, and overall performance.
  • Drive operational efficiency and digitalisation initiatives while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all data and analysis.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree-level education in a relevant field
  • Proven Track Record in Planning & Forecasting & Reporting
  • Commercially savvy with ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable stories
  • Confident and persuasive communicator, able to influence stakeholders up to C-suite level
  • Strong analytical skills with a rigorous, data-driven approach to recommendations
  • Highly collaborative with a focus on coordination and knowledge sharing
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and influence across functions
