The role

  • SAP Finance (SAP FICO) solution architecture design through business requirement translation
  • Lead finance design workshops including senior business stakeholders (SAP FICO).
  • Solution best-fit technologies and architecture strategies to maximise the success of the project.
  • Finance SME and design authority
  • Facilitate design workshops (Blueprint), assessments, planning sessions for projects.
  • Create Solution Designs for Small, Medium and Large sized project.
  • Write functional specifications for enhancement, reports, etc. when needed.
  • Configure SAP FICO module as per the requirements from the Business practices.
  • Effectively collaborate with onshore or offshore team for delivering solutions.
  • Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and training.
    Support SAP Finance master data administration.

Key accountabilities

  • Extensive SAP FICO experience, preferably in S4/HANA
  • Extensive SME experience in SAP FICO for both S4/HANA and ECC
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional relationship skills
  • Experience working with offshore teams


  • Experience of integration from non-SAP to SAP environments
  • Third party CFIN connector experience
  • Team Lead experience of between 2-4 people
  • An accounting background or qualification would be beneficial but not essential
