The role

The role of the Key Account Executive Administrator is to fully support the Key Account function by providing up to the minute reporting requirements for the team including providing analysis and insight on KPIs and performance dynamics as well as volume, revenue, share and availability. The role ensures that all key account administration, documentation and filing is always maintained to a high standard. The role involves cross functional work and support both internally and externally.

Key accountabilities

1. Business Management and Execution • Fully Support the KA team in the delivery and implementation of compelling Customer Development Plans with aligned customer KPI’s to maximize volume, revenue, profit and market share performance • Fully Support the KA team in the completion of customer administration – proposals, monitoring of key metrics, system set-up, provision of product and pricing information etc. • Establish close working business relationships with appropriate contacts in the account ensuring a ‘right first time’ mentality of supplier service • Performance Reporting - provide visibility of our business performance by Unit, Team and Rep and engagement with cluster colleagues on Reporting tools and suite • Create impactful Powerpoint Presentations, dashboards and other reports on performance vs KPIs and other measures as identified with Key Account Manager (KAM) • Develop quantified recommendations and insights to highlight opportunities and provide various options for corrective action • Create simple models for scenario-planning account actions = impact on KPIs (sales, revenue, profit, market share, financial metrics) • Planning & Resource Management • Liaise closely with Trade marketing to ensure meticulous planning of resource (people and investment) to ensure the ongoing success of NPD activation • Work with KAMs to ensure the effective activation of Trade Investment through tracking and reporting at rep and KA level undefined. Commercial Strategy Development Work with the KA team in business development - identifying ways to deliver competitive advantage at an account level and drive top and bottom line growth: • Champion key account knowledge and understanding internally – engage across business to ensure the customer agenda is reflected in strategy development. • Collaborate, inform and share account knowledge with other key functions to help create commercial and trade strategies. • Understanding industry developments and communicating the position on critical issues undefined. Personal Effectiveness • Demonstrate leadership expectations and company values to engage all teams and create a motivational environment • Be self-sufficient and self-motivated, managing time and resources effectively • Carry out comprehensive and accurate administration • Complete all necessary company reports in a timely and accurate fashion • Take responsibility for personal development and learning • Highly cross functional role with strong requirement for internal relationships Sales, Route to Market, Brand & Trade Marketing, Finance & Credit Control, Corporate & Legal Affairs, Information Systems and Human Resources Cluster Colleagues Creation and ownership of account specific contact strategy to deliver world class engagement with various Strategic Customers including Trading teams, Sales and Finance

Skills & experience

Must Haves : • Educated to degree standard in Business, Sales or a related discipline • Strategic and Commercially astute business people • High level commercial and business acumen • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills focused on a win-win agreement • Excellent analytical skills with ability to make key recommendations to the business • Focused on achievement of outcomes in addition to process compliance • Able to enthuse others and foster a collaborative work environment. • Strong verbal and numerical reasoning • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills • Leverages deep understanding of customers & shoppers – beyond the Tobacco & NGP category • Maintains high levels of personal motivation in the most challenging circumstances • Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative • Proactive, confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude which can enthuse and motivate others, including the customer Systems • Proficient in using all Microsoft Office Suite Excel - fully proficient Nice to haves : • First FMCG experience SAP & CRM
