The role

As a Global Travel Retail Activation Executive, you will be responsible to manage the execution and implementation of all TR Global initiatives, including in-store activities and activations to achieve return on investment, volume, switch and share objectives for both TobMax & NGP.

Key accountabilities

  • Be the key Global design agency’s key contact for TR markets, ensuring all content within the market’s briefings are compliant and be able to add value where necessary.
  • Manage the library of artworks ensuring they are correct and accessible for markets use.
  • Manage the planning, implementation and evaluation of all initiatives including special editions, furniture installations and all other POS communication tools.
  • Create Switching Strategy Documents based on host market portfolio and home market strategy.
  • Day to day management of the global staffing agency ensuring they deliver on all agreed initiatives and KPI’s
  • Lead and own the consumer activations planning process from start to finish including creation and administration of brand ambassador calendars, updating and managing planning charts, active management of activations once live and managing final evaluations.
  • Support the Global Staffing agency in recruitment, interviewing and selection of all feet on the ground (FOTG)
  • Create and roll-out a toolkit of best practice training materials for all FOTG trainings and Supervisor workshops, ensuring agency compliance.
  • Ensure all training materials in the toolkit and BA support documents are updated regularly in terms of portfolio, switching strategy, prices, savings, allowance sand key homes & host market updates.
  • Assist with development, coaching and training of all feet on the ground (FOTG – Inlc. Brand Ambassadors, Supervisors, and agency/shop staff) based on defined toolkit
  • Where necessary review action plans for FOTG with regular feedback to supervisors/agency to ensure results are maximised and FOTG are developed appropriately.
  • Deliver regular analysis & reports on development and progress of on-going activations including where necessary final evaluations.
  • Complete annual operational reviews to aid business planning for forthcoming ye
  • Work alongside the Global agency in ensuring logistics of ITG assets throughout Europe are managed in the most cost and time effective way.
  • Managing all internal activation budgets, ensuring they are all kept up to date with regular review of spend including creating and managing agency payment schedules.
  • At the start of the fiscal year create a KPI overview for all agreed activations including main KPI’s, ROI and cost per contact target ensuring a stretch is achieved from previous fiscal year.
  • Manage the GTR GWP (Gift with purchase) ordering process ensuring best price and all key learnings from previous years are implemented.

Skills & experience

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proven sales and marketing experience in an international company
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Very strong organisational skills & able to operate in a dynamic environment (project management experience desirable)
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint advanced skills
