The Role

Are you an analytically strong technician with a passion for process optimization? Do you want to play a key role in improving production processes within an international organization? At Imperial Brands in Wilrijk, we are looking for a Process Lead who not only excels in data analysis and continuous improvement but also thrives on cross-functional collaboration and leading improvement initiatives from A to Z.

As Process Lead, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving our production and packaging processes. You will manage a small team (1 white collar & 1 blue collar) and work closely with stakeholders from supply chain, quality, production, and engineering. You will translate KPIs into concrete actions, initiate improvement projects, and ensure sustainable implementation that enhances our efficiency, quality, and safety.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Analyze data from critical parameters in the production and packaging processes.
  • Set up and improve data mining systems to support factory-wide improvement projects.
  • Translate KPIs into concrete improvement actions and visualize them in a clear and actionable way.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust improvement plans based on data to ensure process and product stability and quality.
  • Take ownership of improvement projects, including full responsibility for implementation and cost savings.
  • Introduce Poka Yoke principles in collaboration with stakeholders, including coordination and follow-up of actions.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's level education or equivalent working experience in (chemical or industrial) engineering.
  • At least a few years of experience in a similar role within production or FMCG.
  • Proven knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and production optimization.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience in developing and monitoring KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and engage stakeholders in improvement initiatives.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels.
