Reviewing and evaluating the sell-in and sell-out data for all categories, considering the defined targets and identifying potential causes for identified deviations as well as developing proposals for corrective measures in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders?

Principle Accountabilities

  • Design and implement the data architecture for the company's different data programs and collaborate closely with business leaders and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify data sources, and design data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain data models, metadata management, and data integration processes that will enable us to harness the power of our data and collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment with our overall enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Develop and maintain data architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and data lineage documentation to enable us to track and manage our data effectively and develop, promote and lead best practices for data development. Mentor and guide developers on effective data solution strategies, coding standards and design principles
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development teams to ensure that data architecture and design principles are followed and collaborate with stakeholders to establish data reporting and analytics frameworks that enable data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and maintain platform governance standards and procedures to ensure that our Azure Data Platform and Databricks environments are optimized for performance, security, and compliance
  • Communicate data architecture and data management strategies, policies, and standards to stakeholders and business leaders

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and extensive experience as a data architect or a related role
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data architectures for complex data environments and strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, and data integration technologies and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Data Platform and Databricks, as well as experience with data governance frameworks and practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, as well as proven networking skills and stakeholder management skills with a good understanding of the wider objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
