The Role

Location: Bristol, Warsaw, Krakow or Amsterdam (flexible)

Are you passionate about sustainability and environmental issues? Do you have a knack for managing complex projects and driving positive change? Join our team as a Leaf Sustainability Manager and lead our efforts in creating a greener future within the leaf supply chain within our inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead the environmental pillar of Sustainable Agriculture in the Farmer Livelihoods and Welfare Strategy.
  • Own our reforestation strategy, CDP, leaf scope 3 requirements, and other related non-financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and help suppliers develop action plans to meet future regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and continually improve the Environmental pillar within the Sustainable Agriculture strategy.
  • Communicate requirements, goals, and ambitions to suppliers, including SBTis and scope 3 emissions requirements.
  • Manage special projects such as African leaf partnership projects and regional sustainability initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience managing environmental improvement programs and scope 3 reporting.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with multilevel stakeholders.
  • Understanding of UNGPs, SDGs, and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work cross-functionally with
  • Sustainability, Legal, Group Governance, and Risk teams.
