The Role
Join Imperial Brands, an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees across more than 120 markets worldwide. As our new Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the commercial success of Imperial Brands in Slovakia.
We are looking for a Key Account Manager with strong commercial acumen, a proactive and forward-thinking mindset, and the confidence to challenge, negotiate, and innovate. You will contribute to business planning, sales and pricing strategy, and execution of key commercial initiatives, directly influencing Imperial Brands’ success in Slovakia.
Principle Accountabilities
Own and manage key customer relationships, including annual negotiations, business planning, product listings, and promotional activities to strengthen Imperial Tobacco Slovakia’s market presence.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company objectives, driving sales growth, profitability, and long-term partnerships across retail and petrol channels.
Lead commercial and sales planning, covering pricing, trade investments, and promotional execution to achieve defined sales, distribution, and visibility targets.
Analyze market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities, optimize product portfolios, and support decision-making through reporting and KPIs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial activities and customer-centric solutions.
Contribute to modernization and capability building, sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement within a small, dynamic team reporting to the Market Manager.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience in sales within FMCG environments
Proven Key Account Management background with strong customer partnership focus
Advanced negotiation and commercial planning skills with a results-oriented mindset
Strong numerical and analytical abilities, proficient in MS Excel
Fluent in English and native Slovak speaker
Category B driving license and willingness to travel within Slovakia
