The Role

At Imperial Brands, we’re seeking a Global Travel Activation Executive to bring our brands to life across the travel retail channel. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-impact trade marketing initiatives across duty-free and travel retail environments, ensuring our products stand out in-store and deliver measurable business results.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, retailers, and agencies to deliver engaging brand activations, drive visibility, and support sales growth in key travel retail markets. Location: Athens, Hybrid work set-up

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Execute trade marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and brand activations across travel retail locations.
  • Ensure strong in-store presence through correct planogram implementation, POS materials deployment, and retail display installations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, and regional teams to implement market-specific operational plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate field teams, brand ambassadors, and external agencies to deliver activations and achieve agreed KPIs.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve future initiatives.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets, suppliers, and promotional materials to ensure cost-effective and timely execution.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing, or Trade Marketing within FMCG or retail environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with external agencies, suppliers, or field teams is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work across multicultural markets.
